Our principals have been on the founding teams of high growth startups and know the challenges firsthand.

Our founders have worked together for over 30 years. Many senior team members have worked with us for over 15 years while the average tenure of an IT professional in this environment is 18 months. Ben serves as President of KalioTek™, guiding the company’s vision and strategic direction. He leads client engagements, architects solutions, and provides technical leadership to the consulting team. With over two decades of experience in IT Infrastructure and Security management, Ben is known for his expertise in delivering complex technology solutions. Previously, he held roles as Vice President of Infrastructure and Security Services and as a Senior Engineer at KalioTek™. This hands-on experience allows him to consistently anticipate client needs and implement tailored IT solutions.

A native of the Bay Area, Ben has built his career supporting the IT demands of a wide range of technology companies. He has contributed to numerous startups, assisting them from incubation all the way through both IPO and acquisition. Ben holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems from the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) by ISC2, demonstrating his commitment to security and industry excellence.

As Vice President of Client Services, James is responsible for managing the client services team and its daily operations. He drives innovation to constantly improve the team’s effectiveness and meet industry-leading SLAs. Each day he demonstrates his commitment to producing value for our customers by supporting their ever-changing business objectives.

James has over 20 years of experience in IT infrastructure, IT operations, and IT End User Services. His expertise extends to business and infrastructure applications, process improvement, project management, audit, and compliance. He has managed support of business-critical infrastructure and applications, providing solid SLA performance and customer service.

James graduated from UCLA with a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics. He is a PMI Certified Project Manager. He has earned a CISSP certification from ISC2, a CISA certification from ISACA, and is ITIL certified.

Richard has managed KalioTek finance since 2011. He is a key member of the management team and champion of its collaborative culture. He has over 25 years of experience in progressive financial roles in technology and consulting industries.

Prior to KalioTek, Richard was Accounting Manager at Centerbeam, an IT consulting company. He also served in accounting management roles at Reliant Technologies and Microbar.

Richard earned a BS degree in Business with concentration in accounting from Emporia State University in Kansas.
